A car can be a very important purchase. Sometimes problems arise from a purchase like fraud, false advertising, high pressure sale tactics that sometimes result in unfair practices such as yo-yo sales, loan packing and dealer mark-ups. If you feel you have been mistreated, then you should contact us to discuss your situation.
If an auto manufacturer makes a design or production mistake on a vehicle that affects the safety of the vehicle, then you are entitled to a free repair. Visit www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/recalls/recallsearch.cfm or call the Safety Hotline at 1-800-424-9393 to see if your car has a safety issue.
Is your car a lemon?
If you have a vehicle with a problem or set of problems that never seems to get fixed, then you may have a “lemon.” You may be entitled to a refund, any damages, and your attorney’s fees and costs.
Give us a call if you have a problem that just does not seem to go away and it seems your car has been with the dealer or in the repair shop more than it should be.
When you borrow money to buy a vehicle, the lender can take your vehicle back if you miss a payment or violate your contract with them. When this happens, the lender may:
- Repossess without advance notice
- Demand you pay off the entire loan balance immediately to get the vehicle back
- Sell the vehicle at auction and recover the deficiency from you
- Lender or its agents may NOT physically threaten you or breach the peace
